About Belleisle

Belleisle began as a Chicago recording project in 2010. Led by Brett Bakshis, the band brings strings, brass, keys and percussion into its indie rock and orchestral pop songs.

The live lineup ranges from smaller acoustic ensembles to a full band. Brett studied pop music performance at the London College of Music and Media, returning to Chicago after completing his degree in 2005.
